About ProVet Team Veterinary Training

  • ProVet Team Veterinary Training is owned and operated by Dani Provost, CVT, VTS (ECC). Dani has over 25 years of experience in various veterinary disciplines, and her love for emergency medicine led her to seek specialty certification in Emergency and Critical Care in 2013. In addition to her on-the-floor clinical practice, Dani has been focused on training and educating her fellow veterinary professionals for the better part of 12 years. Dani firmly believes that we all deserve the opportunity to succeed, and cultivates the empowerment and motivation of the entire veterinary care team by building a culture of support and excellence. Dani is a certified RECOVER CPR instructor, and is the only technician to co-teach an annual wet lab for emergency veterinarians at IVECCS. She loves to travel to provide in-hospital training and she loves sharing everything that she has learned by speaking at regional and national conferences.

  • First of all, Team Veterinary Training is designed from the ground up to be exciting, engaging, and inspiring. ProVet wants to remind your team of the reasons they got into veterinary medicine and bring a sense of fun and joy back into what can be a challenging and emotionally demanding career.

Team Veterinary Training is an individualized approach that is designed to be accessible to all members of the veterinary team, from veterinarians and interns to technicians, assistants, and CSRs. This approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of the whole team and helps to create an environment of interpersonal support and professional accountability. All of our real-world, practical scenarios are based on over 25 years of on-the-floor experience, and incorporate rigorous evidence-based medicine and cutting-edge research.

An emphasis on clinical skills that your team will put to work every day is balanced with an understanding of the importance of interpersonal communication and team-building skills – areas that are often overlooked in veterinary training. This combination of clinical skills and supportive communication is also ideal for inspiring a culture of mentorship and learning that will allow your staff to reinforce the Team Veterinary Training concept amongst themselves over the long term.

This approach is also about building a judgment-free safety culture that allows your organization to empower every member of your team to provide the best possible medical care for your patients and a welcoming, trustworthy experience for your clients.

  • “Dani’s clinical expertise, coupled with her nurturing personality, creates the perfect training experience. She truly cares about the success of her training and empowering the teams she works with.”

Janet McConnell, CVT, 2015 NAVTA Technician of the Year.
